The National’s production of Our Country’s Good has all the bells and all the whistles. It is so polished that it shines. But it also feels remote. Actors and writer engaged in an intensive two-week workshop researching the themes of the novel 'The Playmaker', by Thomas Keneally upon which the play is based.
